What happens if I receive a book that I've already read, or just don't like? Can I exchange it?

We do our best to select books that we think you will love, but on rare occasions we may miss our target. If you ever receive a book that you don’t like, or have already read, you can return the book to us and we will gladly exchange it for another selection.  The only thing we ask is that you contact us and let us know why the book wasn't right, so we can better improve our services in the future.  You can do that either by sending an email through our website to support@justtherightbook.com or you can call our toll-free number:  800-74-READS (our customer service representatives are available between 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST every day of the week).  Once we hear from you we will email (or mail, if you prefer) a postage-paid return label right away and send you a replacement book.

 

 

When can a recipient sign-up at the Recipient Center?

As soon as someone receives the first package from us they can visit the Recipient Center.  There's a unique Claim Code that's printed on the packing slip that accompanies every book we ship, and that's what you use to create a username and password. Then log into JustTheRightBook.com, click Recipient Center, and you'll be taken to your unique page on our site.

What is the Recipient Center?

The Recipient Center is the place where people who have been given a Just The Right Book Series gift may create an account and fill out our preference form about their interests and reading preferences.  The Recipient Center also allows them to change their shipping address; track orders (where available); and give us feedback our selections by using a quick and easy email form.   

 

Can my recipient view the preferences that I indicated when I made my purchase?

No, the information you give us about your recipient – whether on the website or through the mail – is confidential and we do not give it out to anyone, including the recipient.   Similarly, if your recipient chooses to create an account in the Recipient Center and notes their own reading preferences and interests, that information will not be made available to you or anyone else.

My recipient doesn't use a computer...

At any time during the year they can send us a letter (our address is:  Just The Right Book, 768 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT  06443) or call our customer service line (877-654-5872) and make specific requests or give us feedback about the books we are choosing.  Each book your recipient receives will include a packing slip with our address on it, as well as his or her Account Number.  They should reference the Account Number in their correspondence if possible. 


Can a recipient communicate directly with you about their reading preferences and interests?

Yes, this is what The Recipient Center is for; it's the place where people who have been given a Just the Right Book Series gift can create an account and tell us about their interests and reading preferences by filling out a short preference form.  The Recipient Center also allows recipients to change their shipping address; track orders (where available); and give us feedback about our selections.
