Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot my password -- help!

Not to worry:  just click the "Login" button on any page of the website (you'll see it in the upper right hand corner along with Home, Account and Help), and you will see a link that says "Forgot your password?"  Click that link, fill out the text field and we will send your password to you to your email address on record.

What is the "claim code" that appears on Just the Right Book packing slips?

We create a unique claim code for each recipient to enable him/her to quickly and easily create an individual account on our Recipient Center.  That number is printed on the packing slip that arrives with each book we ship.  We provide the unique number so that if the person who gave you your gift did not provide your email address we have a way of associating you with the gift you were given, and can therefore display all the relevant information we have to you, such as the books we have sent you and order tracking (where available).

When am I required to log-in to JustTheRightBook.com?

After you have completed your order process (selecting a gift and answering the questions) you will be required to create a username and password.  We require this for security purposes. Once you have done so you will be automatically logged into our system and you will proceed to the secure checkout area where you will complete your purchase.  Remember to keep track of your username and password as these will be necessary for logging into and accessing the Account section where you can change your account preferences and settings; create an address book and holiday reminders; view your purchase history;  send us feedback; and do order tracking (when available).

How does JTRB use my personal information?

At Just the Right Book we take issues of personal privacy very seriously.  Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for more detailed information about our policies.

Why do I have to pay sales tax on my order?

Our company is based in Connecticut and we are required by law to charge sales tax on purchases shipped to addresses to Connecticut.
